Ergonomic Body
The handle shape of the Raptor(TM) Safety Knife Knife was designed to fit your hand even while wearing heavy gloves. Three grasp points, one each for the thumb, index finger, and heal of the hand, provide sure gripping action in the direction of the cut. The hook knife shape is designed to pull material into the blades while providing a safety guide to protect the user.. For rescue applications this knife greatly minimizes the risk of inadvertently cutting the victim or other critical items such as lifelines and air hoses.
The shaped body of the Raptor(TM) is constructed entirely of aircraft grade aluminum, which is finished with a hard, anodized surface. This makes the tool highly corrosion-resistance while maintaining lightweight and high strength.
The two piece body is held together by stainless steel screws which are counter sunk prior to the anodizing process.
Stainless Steel Blades
Two stainless steel blades are precision ground for a super-sharp cutting edge. The corrosion - resistant blades are easily replaced.
Optional Pocket
The Raptor comes with an optional nylon pocket and snap lanyard system.
