4 Inch Lamana with Replaceable Blades

The 4 inch Lamana is a modification of the widely used Lamana Safety Knife and features the same 'flow through' work area as the molded knife. The 4 inch version of the Lamana features an aluminum loop handle and is the first Lamana model with replaceable blades. Each blade comes with the safety tip attached. Replacement is easily accomplished usng the two attachment screws.

The loop handle provides control even in tight, hard to reach places.

The Lamana design (patent pending) is ideal for safely cutting flat stock materials including:

The 4 inch Lamana(TM) provides the efficient cut of an exposed knife blade while protecting the user from the dangers of an exposed blade. The unique 'flow through cutting channel' blade design provides a smooth, uniform, and easy cut which is ideal for cutting films and even stiffer materials which can 'hang' on conventional hook knives. As with all of our knives, the 'protected blade' design adds long life to the blade, as it isn't inadvertently stuck against foreign objects, and the smooth, rounded tip design protects whatever is beneath the material being cut. The replaceable blade means you can always have a new, sharp blade in the knife.

SAFETY FIRST

At last, an industrial knife designed specifically to replace the common open bladed utility knife. Designed with safety and ease of use in mind, the unique Cutting Channel of the Lamana(TM) is sized and shaped to let materials in and to keep fingers and hands out. The "NO POINT" knife and blade prevents virtually all puncture wounds. The handle design allows positive, powerful draw cutting without slipping using either left or right hand.
